Terms of Use
By installing and using Sổ Huyết Áp you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What the app is
Sổ Huyết Áp is a personal record-keeping tool: you measure your blood pressure with your own monitor, enter the numbers, and the app stores them, shows your history, and produces a report you can hand to your doctor.
2. What the app is not
- Not a medical device. It does not measure blood pressure; it only records the numbers you enter.
- Not a diagnosis. The level label is a tracking aid, not a medical conclusion.
- Not a stroke detector, nor a detector of any other emergency.
- Not a replacement for your doctor, for emergency services, or for a medical alert system.
All decisions about medication and treatment must come from a healthcare professional. See the Medical Disclaimer.
3. Licence
You are granted a free, non-exclusive licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not resell, rent or redistribute the app, nor reverse-engineer or tamper with it beyond what the law expressly permits.
4. Your responsibilities
- Enter the numbers shown on your monitor accurately, and check any values the photo feature fills in before saving.
- Make your own backups. Your data lives only on your phone. Removing the app, losing the phone, or switching phones without a backup means the data is gone for good.
- Remember your backup password. Nobody can open that file for you, including us.
- Enter your family’s phone numbers correctly, and let them know they are on your call list.
- If you enable the Slack webhook, you are responsible for the address you paste in and for who can read that channel.
- Think before sharing a backup file or a PDF report, as both contain health data.
5. No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. In particular:
- Reading digits from a photo can be wrong, which is why the app always makes you confirm before saving.
- Reminders are local operating-system notifications; a flat battery, a powered-off phone or battery-saving modes can delay them or stop them firing.
- The call sequence depends on the operating system and your mobile network. The system does not reliably tell the app whether the other person actually answered, so the app has to infer it and may go on to call the next contact. The sequence stops after at most two rounds. Do not use this feature in place of calling emergency services.
- Sending to Slack requires a connection and can fail; if it does, your reading is still saved normally on the phone.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caka Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including lost data, calls that did not connect, reminders that did not fire, or health decisions based on figures shown in the app.
7. Third parties
The app integrates no third-party service by default. If you switch on the Slack webhook yourself, the data sent to Slack is governed by Slack’s own terms and policies, which are outside our control.
8. Changes
The app and these terms may be updated. A revised version will be published on this page with the updated date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
9. Termination
You may stop at any time by removing the app, which deletes the data it stored on your phone.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
